Portal Frame Structures

We use portal frame design methods. These allow for very large spans with an efficent use of steel. Portal frames are ideal for warehouses, distribution centres, factories and retail outlets.

Tapered Beams

The use of Tapered Beams or 3 plate beams allows for an even more efficient use of steel in the structure. Our expereince has shown that a weight reduction of up to 30% in the primary structure is achievable.

Overhead Crane Loads

Our designs can incorporate several different types of cranes and associated loads.
